Sibiu Christmas Market
is a cultural project initiated by the foundation Pro-Ro Austria Romania and Social Attaché Office of the Austrian Embassy, in partnership with the city of Sibiu. First opened in 2007, Sibiu year as European Capital of Culture Christmas Market became known throughout the country for the scale and tradition created. The event is organized by A1 Events Ltd and co-financed by the Municipality of Sibiu County Council and House of Culture Sibiu Sibiu.
Walking through Sibiu’s city center is a great experience in itself; Christmas just makes it… lighter. About 65 wooden huts display their goodies here and trust us, some are truly irresistible. An official page of the Christmas events in Sibiu here.
