The Peles Castle is one of the most beautiful castle in the world. It was built from the king of Romania, Carol I, initiative, in the
outside part of the Podul Neagului (Neagu's Bridge) village in 1874. In the same year, the name of the village became Sinaia, also the idea of Carol. One year later, in the center of the village, the first houses of aristocrats appear. In 1876 starts the construction of the railway Ploiesti-Predeal which goes through Sinaia. In the same time, between 1873-1875 it was enlightened the foundation of Peles Castle. The ceremony of the headstone was held in august 10/22, 1875.
