Piatra Neamt (German: der Bistritz Kreuzburg, Hungarian: Karácsonkő) is a municipality located in Bistrita valley in northeastern Romania, Neamt county residence.
With a population in 2011 of 85.055 inhabitants, the city legally is the second industrial center of the county Roman city. The town was declared a resident of North East Development Region.
