Balea Waterfall is in Fagaras Mountains between
Moldoveanu Peak and Negoiu Peak. It is the most famous waterfall at an altitude of over 1200 meters and it has a fall of 60 meters and marks the lower gear of Balea cirque.

If you want to reach to this beautiful waterfall you have to drive on Transfagaras until Balea Waterfall cottage and then you have to walk until the waterfall on a track marked with red point. You have to climb-down for 50 minutes, but the track is very beautiful.
