The Palace of the Parliament

The Palace of the Parliament has 270 meters length, 240 width, 86 meters height and 92 meters underground. It has twelve floors on the top and other 8 underground.
This is the largest
administrative building for civil use from the world, the most expensive administrative building from the world and the heaviest building in the world being in Guiness world records for 3 different categories.
The building has a surface of 330 000 m², on the second place after the Pentagon and with its 2 550 000 m³ is on the third place after the assembly building space rockets from Cape Canaveral from Florida and after Quetzalcoatl pyramid from Mexico. It is larger than Keops pyramid from Egypt with 2%.
The Palace of the Parliament has 1000 rooms in which 440 are offices, over 30 are saloons, 4 restaurants, 3 libraries, 2 underground parking, one Concert Hall and even more, a stadium.
The names of the saloons were choosen after 1989 and are the name of important events of Romanian history or important figures known in the whole world.
