The Triumph Arch in Bucharest

The Arch of Triumph is a monument situated in the north part of Bucharest in the intersection of
Kiseleff street with Constantin Prezan, Alexandru Averescu and Alexandru Constantinescu Bulevard. The monument, designed by Petre Antonescu, was built between 1921-1922 and restored between 1935-1936. It commemorates the romanian victory in the First World War.
It has 27 meters height with one open and it has a rectangular form. The models were done by plastic artitsts and for the carving of the Ruschita marble worked local sculptors and ten italian sculptors.
