Caraiman Monastery


Caraiman Monastery was founded in 1998 on the initiative of our worthy parent Gherontie Puiu.
It is located at the foot of Bucegi Mountains, surrounded by up to "Cross Caraiman" built in 1928, at an altitude of 2291 m, was the highest metal structure located in a mountainous area in Europe.
Located in Busteni, a tourist town, which makes transit corridor from Bucharest to Brasov and Bran - Rucar, Caraiman monastery is a place of retreat and return to God.
This place bring peace and joy in the hearts of believers who cross the threshold.
